Are you lagging? Are you lagging even if no one in your network (including you) is downloading or uploading anything? Take a deep breath and do the following so that we may help you out with your lag problems:

Do a traceroute going to us, generate a text file of the traceroute it and post the contents here. What? How do you do that? Follow these instructions and know how to do a traceroute:

*This guide only covers Windows Users

Step 1: Windows XP - Click your start button and click the "Run" Command:

Windows 7: Click the start button, type "cmd" and press the enter key. Move on to Step 3.

Step 2: Type "cmd" and click the OK button:

Step 3: A command prompt window should be in front of you by now. Type the following command:

tracert[space]103.4.23.100[space]>[space][date today][your area/city][time].txt

Here's an example, with a file name of july19qc3-00pm.txt:

Wait a while for the traceroute to finish. You will know when it finishes when you see another command prompt below it:

Step 4: Get your text file from the location you see in your command prompt and paste its contents on your post:

Step 5: Include the following details about your internet connection:

Time and date of the traceroute.
Your ISP
Your IP Address (click www.whatismyip.com or cmyip.com to know your IP address)
Where you are playing from
Other possibly useful information (internal network, use of proxies and/or tunneling services)
